- To endeavour in preserving the integrity and authoritative of the
Institution of Penghulus and Ketuas Kampong.
- To ensure the implementation of rural projects considered beneficial
for public interest such as construction of roads, community centres,
recreation parks, bridges and jetties in Kampong Ayer.
- To facilitate the participation of the indigenous people in
small-scale business ventures.
- To ensure cleanliness for healthy and safe environment with special
priority to areas along the main roads and public centres.
- To ensure proper development for Kampong Ayer.
- To determine and regulate business undertakings.
- To evaluate complaints and requests from the communities.
- To evaluate the importance of social interest as well as the
Government's needs as compared to those of development requirements.
- To improve the qualities of service provided.
- To support and instil the Islamic values in the administration.
